Breaking News

Minnesota Feeling Kevin Love?
DraftExpress.com has reported that Kevin McHale, GM of the Minnesota Timberwolves and owner of the third pick of the draft may have already decided to take UCLA big man Kevin Love in the upcoming draft. And because Love is not generally considered a top 5 pick there are also reports that Minnesota is looking to trade down in exchange for a young player while still being able to pick Love and create a tandem of Al Jefferson and Kevin Love that would solidify their front-court for years to come.

Draft Trade?
DraftExpress also reports that the Memphis Grizzlies may be interested in dealing with Minnesota in order to move up so they can take either O.J. Mayo from USC or 7-footer Brooke Lopez out of Stanford. The site also claim that (according to an insider) Seattle Supersonics GM Sam Presti is so impressed with point guard Jarred Bayless that he would consider taking him at #4 even if Mayo were still on the board. Interestingly enough, FOXSports.com reports that Indiana guard Eric Gordon is another option being considered by the Sonics.

I'll have to see the Sonics pass on Mayo with my own eyes before I believe it.

Micheal Beasley's Shortcomings.
FOXSports.com reported that despite Beasley having been listed at 6-10 at Kansas State some scouts think he could be closer to 6-7. So much for being a dominant "big man."
